Providers of quality pre-school education for over 30
years
The staff and committee welcome you to the Brampton Playgroup & Pre-school website.
Our aim is to provide a safe and stimulating environment which your
child will enjoy being part of.
We are a registered charity (charity No.1029720), run and
administered by a committee. This committee is elected at each
annual general meeting. It consists of chairperson, secretary,
treasurer and four or five other members.
We are a member of the pre school learning alliance and are
inspected by OFSTED whose reports are available online for anyone
to read. Click
here for Brampton Playgroup & Pre-school's
report.
The Brampton Playgroup & Pre-school adheres to the PLA constitution. Click the attachment below to view.
We have close links with Brampton village primary school which
makes it easier for children to make the transition from us to
school.
We aim to provide learning and social skills through play in an
informal environment. Activities are designed to encourage children
to develop their potential at their own pace through enjoyable and
creative play activities.
We hope this website will help answer any questions you have , but

Playscheme
Brampton Playgroup & Pre-school were recently selected in the
Top 6 out of 66 entries for the Biodiversity Award 2010 from Anglia
in Bloom.
We have been enjoying being actively involved in the community and
our new scheme was taking part in the Brampton in Bloom
competition. The staff, committee and parents came together
donating time and equipment to help us build our garden out of
recycled materials. The children have been actively involved
in planting seeds, watering them and watching them grow. We
have then been using the produce to form part of the children
healthy snacks.
We hope to continue the children's interest with a small group of keen gardeners, to attend to conservation, broaden ideas and develop their skills. If you have any gardening equipment that you would like to donate please contact the playgroup on 01480 350588 and speak to a member of staff. We are also collecting the Morrisons Lets Grow vouchers.
